Light

I travel on the road of light, going at the speed of life;
As I wait, I look around, and what do I see?
Old, young and middle aged, also waiting patiently.

I look ahead and put my hand on my chest;
I knew we were almost there, the place of eternal rest.

I travel on the road of light, going at the speed of life;
I get off the road look around, and what do I see?
Saints, angels and the Lord, waiting patiently for me.

Finally, at last, away from fears, sadness or any of earth's harms;
I can feel safe, love and be loved in Jesus' arms.
